Perv posed as Niall Horan and Justin Bieber?
Your parents always tell you to be careful of who you talk to on the internet. This is why a Pedophile befriended teenage girls online by posing as pop star Justin Bieber and boy band One Direction’s Niall Horan.
Simon Hale then persuaded dozens of the girls from the UK, Australia and Denmark into posing naked or topless for him on their computer webcams. Taking control of their computers using a sophisticated software, he then recorded and blackmailed some of them into committing on-camera sex acts for perverted pleasure.
Don’t worry directioners and beliebers! Hale was yesterday locked up for at least 10 years and warned by a judge that he was so dangerous that he might never be released.
Prosecutor David Gittins told Plymouth Crown Court that Hale, aged 37, had eventually admitted 10 counts of causing or inciting children to commit indecent acts and 12 counts relating to making, distributing or possessing images of those children.
Mr Gittins said that last year, girls heard they could talk to 18-year-old Canadian heart-throb ‘Justin Bieber’ and 19-year old Niall Horan via an internet site similar to a chat-room.
But the man they talked to, who then encouraged them to use Skype, was Hale. When police tracked him down, they found 35 Skype accounts and more than 180 home-made videos, nearly all of young girls and 88 showing them performing various sexual acts. Officers identified 10 out of 33 girls with whom Hale had struck up online relationships.
Mr Gittins said in one case, Hale talked to a girl of 13, who had a cousin aged six. He asked the girl, a huge fan of both singers, to lift up her top and take off her pants, which she refused to do. He then sent her a photo of the real Justin Bieber and told her he had a brain tumour to gain her sympathy.
When the girl again refused to strip, he told her he had already secretly filmed her getting changed and would show her friends unless she did as he asked. Eventually the girl was pressured to strip naked and commit simulated sex acts with her young cousin.
Mr Gittins detailed other similar cases, one girl being made to commit sex acts with her four-year-old brother and others forced into touching themselves intimately. All were aged 13-15.
Judge Paul Darlow told Hale: “By pretending to be someone you knew girls that age would idolise, you inveigled your way into their confidence and in several cases spawned an infatuation with you. There is a significant risk that you will commit more offences, causing serious harm to the public. There is a possibility you will be held in custody indefinitely.”
Outside the court, Det Insp Simon Snell said: “The abuse of Hale’s victims was horrific. He’s a very dangerous and sadistic man; with him it’s about control and sexual gratification. He didn’t co-operate with us in any way.”
He added that Justin Bieber and Niall Horan had both been told of the case, and were “horrified and appalled”.

The “X Factor” U.K. promo video, which was released on July 27, 2012, features childhood photos of the five members of One Direction (Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Niall Horan), as well as footage of the group when One Direction competed on the show in 2010. (One Direction ended up in third place.) Since then, One Direction has become the biggest global act to emerge from “The X Factor,” by having No. 1 hits and sold-out tours in several countries.
All five members of the group auditioned for “The X Factor” U.K. as solo singers but were rejected as solo singers. They were then put into a group by “The X Factor” executive producer Simon Cowell, who became One Direction’s mentor on the show. Though they did not win the singing competition Cowell later signed One Direction to Syco Music, the record company that he co-owns with Sony Music. And everyone is glad he did.
Meanwhile, Miley Cyrus, 19, has admitted that she is one of many teenagers who have become obsessed with One Direction. And she has confessed to a particular interest in One Direction’s Zayn Malik, who is also 19. She tweeted this message on July 27, 2012: “Feel like I’m hangin with a 13 year old girl when I have sleepovers with gays! Weve spent an hour stalking Zayn from @onedirection but gotta admit I love every second of it.”
It’s all in good fun though, since Cyrus and Malik are in serious romantic relationships with other people. Cyrus is engaged to actor Liam Hemsworth. Malik has been dating Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards, 19, since the spring of 2012, and he has publicly declared his love for her. Allegedly. 😉
One Direction’s Up All Night is Platinum
July 26th it was announced from Sony Music Global that One Direction’s Up All Night went Platinum and their tour DVD went triple Platinum.
Considering the state of the music industry, a platinum plaque is very rare and more than meaningful feat than ever before. For evidence, look no further than the fact that One Direction’s hit album Up All Night just became the one of the first albums released in 2012 to surpass one million in record sales, Adele’s 21 was another.
One Direction has had a very successful year so far, with a 6 month tour that was sold out and a mostly sold out 2013 tour they are raking up some cash. Their album never leaving the top 10 of the Billboard charts and their “Up all Night: The Live Tour” DVD has held the number one spot eight weeks in a row on Billboard’s Top Music Videos chart with 223k copies sold.
On December 3, One Direction will have one of the biggest concerts of their career when they perform at New York’s iconic Madison Square Garden – a performance that sold out in under an hour.
Niall Horan Blows up the Internet… JK… Sort of
The day after golfing with a few bandmates, Niall told all of his five million followers that he would be getting on Twitcam, so he could do a live stream and chat with them for a bit. In true Twitcam manner, the website crashed as over fifty thousand fans clicked the link and tried to watch Niall in a frenzy.
Niall did get on Twitcam for a short bit, but most fans were disappointed in having to miss his short stream due to technical difficulties. For many fans, Twitcam only showed the “Offline” screen, even while Niall was streaming.
One Direction’s Niall hosts a barbecue
One Direction’s Niall Horan’s Tuesday night barbecue reportedly got “louder as the night went on.”
The singer hosted the cookout on the roof of his apartment block in London. Niall and friends were singing, strumming on guitars and banging on drums all night long. Although his neighbours were miffed by the noise, Niall and partygoers continued to engage heavily in the festivities.
“They got louder as the night went on,” a source told British newspaper The Sun.
“Music was being pumped out and in all the excitement Niall jumped on his [life-sized] Barack Obama model and its arm came off.”
In a video posted on YouTube earlier this month, exhausted-looking Niall was heard addressing a group of girls as a “shower of ****s” as he exited an airport in Ireland.He has since apologised to fans via Twitter for using the offensive word.
“Really sorry if I caused any offence. It was just banter with fans who I think of more as mates,” he tweeted. “But I understand that it’s not a word I should be using at all.”
One Direction to work with Ed Sheeran
It was no surprise when everyone heard that Ed Sheeran was to be working with One Direction again, the Moments writer told MTV in a interview that he was indeed enlisted the help of Ed Sheeran for their still-in-the-works sophomore album.
The British singer/songwriter got a writing credit on 1D’s debut, Up All Night, and Sheeran assured them that the boy band has no plans to deviate from singing the love songs that have made them famous on both sides of the pond.
“I wrote the three tracks that I gave [them] … when I was 17 and they were on my hard drive for a long time,” he revealed to MTV News. “And then I gave them one song for their last album, and they came back and said, ‘Do you have any more?’ and I said, ‘Here’s a whole load. Take your pick.’ “
Although Sheeran tends to make acoustic folk music, he told us he likes to try on different musical hats, including Top 40 pop.
“I quite like straddling both sides of the industry,” he said. “Like, to be able to release an album on my own, which is kind of like an acoustic soul album, and then do a four-track EP with an act like Yelawolf and then write a song for One Direction. I quite like having lots of different fingers in lots of different pies and not really being able to put in a category or a box. I like trying out new things and staying musically driven.”

Perrie eats dog food?
One Direction has plenty of press, and there are definitly stories on their girlfriends aswell. Including one latest rumor that Zayn Malik’s girlfriend Perrie Edwards eats dog and cat food has her brother seeing red. Reports came out on Monday that Edwards was eating alternative foods. Which caused tabloids and bloggers alike all over it. According to Perry Edwards’ brother Jonnie Edwards on Wednesday, it’s nasty rumor and One Direction fans need to stop spreading it.
“Right! for what it’s worth, Perrie doesn’t eat cat or dog food, ****ing grow up the lot of you. Stop believing everything you read!” tweeted Jonnie Edwards from his Twitter account on Wednesday. While the brother goes on to defend his sister, it’s disappointing to see Zayn Malik didn’t defend Perrie at all. His Twitter accountdefinitely is updated, but the One Direction band member seems to be focused on the weather in England instead of stopping a unfounded rumor.
